This reminds me of my recent carrot experience. OK, so my new favorite store is Pacific Green. They have great vegetables. Like most other people, I switched over to baby carrots five years ago or so, upped my carrot consumption a lot, and never really looked back. But for some reason, when I was at Pacific Green not too long ago, I picked up a bag of regular, non-baby carrots. The bag was only 50 cents and the carrots themselves weren't too big and overgrown. I've been peeling and halving two of them each day with my lunch. They taste great, much more flavorful than baby carrots. Also they are a deeper organge so I'm convinced they're better for ya, too.
